NESPRESSO x ANA DE ARMAS

Brand Partnership, Digital, App -- Writing

Problem:
Modern living leaves little time for reflection.

Insight:
Brewing and enjoying coffee present opportunities to reflect and grow.

Coffee brews experiences, and experiences make us who we are. Nespresso and Ana De Armas partner to create a new line of coffee capsules based on the flavors and values of Ana’s native Cuba.

I wrote the manifesto, flavor descriptions, social copy, and pitch deck based on a concept I developed alongside Art Director Erika Peitersen.



Four new flavors represent four crucial aspects of life.


An in-app experience reaches Nespresso users while their coffee brews. Afterwards, a journal prompt asks them to record their thoughts.

Journal Prompts are also posted on Twitter, asking the community to share their thoughts and stories– with or without a Nespresso machine.


Ana’s favorite responses are displayed guerilla-style with larger than life coffee rings on walls and sidewalks around the world.
