Mercedes-Benz USA

Our unique paths in life take us to uniquely beautiful places – and people. For Pride 2025, we positioned Mercedes-Benz as a partner on life’s journey. In collaboration with Indonesian-based artist Andhika Ramadhian, we told stories about queer people finding connection in a strange, beautiful world.
I developed the idea and wrote the scripts for each micro story.
First Date
A couple lies in a flowery meadow, shoulders touching.
In the close foreground, we see a Mercedes sitting on a road.
The couple points at one of the few clouds in the sky.
The Mercedes accelerates across the road and out of frame.
See You
A man gives a lingering wave to a departing love.
Hazard lights blink on his Mercedes in a passenger drop off lane.
Their hands stay in the air, trying to make goodbye last forever.
To them, they’re the only people at the airport.
Bright Night
A group of friends sit by a bonfire on a sandy beach.
The headlamps of a Mercedes lights the scene.
The friends watch the tide arm-in-arm, hand-in-hand.
Their shadows blend together on the sand.
Star Crossed
Two young men fall in love on a suburban rooftop.
A Mercedes sits in the driveway.
They lean into each other as the sun sets over their town.
The stars begin to twinkle, reflecting their new spark.
My partner and I had wanted to collaborate with Andhika for a long time, being drawn to his uniquely elevated approach to CG and mesmerizing use of a vertical frame. You always hear about how creatives bat an idea around for years before the right brief gives you an opportunity to execute it. This project was my first time experiencing that, and let me tell you it felt rad.
